Philosophy

Belonging before broadcasting

Content and community aren't two departments. I believe they're the same engine and this is how I run it.

01

Belonging before broadcasting

People participate when they feel seen, useful and connected. Opening a channel is not the same as earning attention.

02

Members are the content engine

The most credible stories come from members' experiences, expertise and wins. A marketing calendar can't manufacture that.

03

Recognition creates advocates

Contributors need somewhere to go next, so I build a clear path from contributor to champion to ambassador to advocate.

04

Community should move the business

The real questions: are members staying, participating, referring, advocating and strengthening trust?

The journey

Join → Connect → Contribute → Champion → Advocate

01

Join

Where do I fit?

02

Connect

These people understand me/my work.

03

Contribute

I have something valuable to add.

04

Champion

I'm part of this.

05

Advocate

Other people in my field should know about this.

“Advocate stories become content, content and community value attracts members, members create more advocates. Advocacy is where the loop closes.”
